These guys are overhyped to death, the fights are boring most of the **** goes down to the ground, fights end prematurely when a guy mounts the other and starts pitty patting him on the ground. A lot fights end after a single knockdown and the guy gets hit on floor. The UFC is mostly geared to dumb trendy mostly white audiences that appreciate violence more than skill.

Pride was a hell of a lot more entertaining, it had a street fighter appeal to it and the playing field was even so that wrestler had no advantages over strikers. The ufc with is shock value cage and no kicking on the ground bull**** gives wrestlers an unfair advantage making the fight a hell of a lot more boring.

To me there's no sport in mma just glorified violence. The skill level is nowhere near boxing and the competition is crap. Plus, I just hate the dumb tough guy UFC image.

It takes more skill to master one thing, rather than 2 or 3? Would u mind explaining how?

Not cosigning but I has a huge Pride fan and a big UFC fan before Zuffa bought it (aka the white trash moron fanbase appeared).

        Pride was awesome.

I can. Total mastery of one thing takes forever. Mastering a bunch of things is hard in it's own way but you never master them. You get decent at them but never 'master' those many different disciplines. In fact mixing them together by definition implies that you can never truly become a master of any one of them because you will be focused on all of them.

Expert at one thing vs. jack of all trades.

          Pretty simple.

None of them master 3 things. They may wrestle but when they stand up and box they look ****** why would i wanna see people who don't know what they are doing in a pro sport? I hate that argument none of them can master boxing thats for sure

I don't really hate it per se, i'm just waaay more interested in Boxing. Even as a martial artist, boxing is more appealing than MMA. IMO, i can't speak for anyone else.

I can watch it, but i just can't get into it like boxing.

Just because a fighter doesn't have a body like adonis doesn't mean he's fat and out of shape.

And it's funny that you mention Nogeira since he is considered to be MMA's version of Antonio Margarito. He's internationally known for having almost Godlike stamina

lmao Godlike stamina...Look at the condition Margerito is in compared to NOG, Nog looks like he eats whatever he wants and trains once a week.

Chuck is a huge beer drinker, and he has a beer belly. Kelly Pavlik has no muscle but hes got not fat ether.

                      Will I watch it? yeah...

Do I really like it? Naw....

I'll pick a weak ass FNF over a PPV MMA anyday.
It's almost like your forcing yourself not to enjoy a contact sport besides boxing, is that so wrong?

UFC has a good PPV this weekend and have a hell of a card on the 31st. I can understand if people just aren't into MMA, I mean that's cool. But some of the posts on here ****ting on MMA in total come off like those people have never seen an actual UFC / MMA fight besides maybe a preview on ****e.

It's almost like people here have a guilty conscience on secretly liking MMA like it's something they're trying to hide because most of the arguments are so comical you can do nothing but laugh.
