it has nothing to do with race son! If you're not getting known, if your not building a following and you feel you are a superstar then you need a new promoter.

Yup, that's part of it also. Just like them Pacquiao's and Hatton's nuthuggers they act like bunch of horny little sluts that has been deprived and waiting to get Fccuck.

Its the same reason Pacman gets love. Those people are patriotic and love that one of their own is representing them.

I don't know how true your premise that black people don't follow black fighters is tbh

And I wouldn't expect black fighters to rep America considering the history of what that country did to Africans and Caribbeans

And Hatton isn't really comparable, he is from the North of England, which is a pretty poor area where boxing is still a sport that people follow, and much of his support (eg his travelling fans) come from the actual estate (or projects if you're american) where he's from. The fact he still drinks and hangs out with people on and from that estate and area is another reason for teh strong support.

that's easy for you to say because you must be mexican.

mexicans can fight at local burrito shop and draw 100k people.

This does NOT apply to black only... I repeat, the does NOT apply to blacks only! It is hard to support ANYONE if they take on the attitude of being a victim in this country. Here in Phoenix, I pass by blacks, asians, and hispanics that are wearing 3 piece suits, carrying briefcases, and making more money than I EVER will. No one in the U.S. can claim to be a victim simply because of the color of their skin. I was born and raised for 23 years in southeast Arkansas. People are not descriminated against because of their skin, but regardless of your color, if you wear pants around your knees for your ass to show and don't learn proper grammar/pronunciation, its only natural that you get the second rate jobs and second rate pay. We are lightyears away from the days of being a colonies... so whites are no longer victims, we are so far removed from slavery and the civil rights movements of the 60's (which were great!)... blacks are no longer victims, the asian roundup of WWII is a memory... asians are no longer victims, and much has changed for hispanics with the help of Cezar Chavez and the ********ic party... hispanics are no longer victims.

If you act the part of a victim because of your color, and believe the world owes you something... to hell with you.

                  Yup, exactly.

And also Pacquiao is one hell of a performer/boxer.

I don't think there would be that many filipinos would love Pacquiao if he fought like JMM or Mayweather.

Partly because of his Filipino followers because he is exciting.

Yup, my co-worker teared up and said to us the next day ***** won.

Not once I ever thought of dying for this country and I have never loved America because of its history but now I would shed blood for this country.
