African Americans have a hard time being a draw

This is a serious discussion and I don't know that it is Blacks having a tough time being a big draw, I think it has more to do with "the minority". During the late 60's and early 70's, blacks dominated the HW division, and naturally everyone was looking for the anomaly... the proverbial "Great White Hope". 90 years ago, Jack Johnson had no trouble becoming the biggest draw in boxing. I mean NO OFFENSE, but Johnson looked like he was bathed in a coal mine, I mean that guy was so dark light bended around him, and he was the biggest draw in boxing for 2 decades! He was the "anomaly" back when whites dominated the sport. Now there is about an even mixture, and from the world over rather than just UK and USA. So I think its difficult for anyone to become a big draw now.
I've never understood the title "African American"? I'm as white as friggin Casper the Friendly Ghost, and my family lines come from U.K. and Germany... but I've always just considered myself American. I thought to be amalgamated, you had to be born a citizen of one country and then become a citizen of a different country. I'm honestly not trying to prove a point... hell, if anything I'm just clueless..Comment

I ain't siding in no race. i'm stating fact the truth about Boxing.
And being a Mexican or fight against a Mexican will be the biggest draw because of their fan base.
I'm not racist because i say MEXICAN that don't mean I'm being racist or siding to own race.
why we can't say MEXICANS or black, pr, british, and filipinos any more?Comment

Check this out. A poster makes a thread asking the question why Mayweather fans like Williams. Trying to conclude that Mayweather fans like Williams simply because he is black.
Floyd fans, why are you guys so big on Williams?
They all saying that Blacks boxing fans only follow other black fighters.
But they go and make a thread saying
Chris Arreola has the personal qualities that I can relate to
