This writer is just trying to start something he has no control over, I could pull quotes somebody said from awhile back and make it seem just as relevant and fresh as possible, he must have had nothing else to write about.

But you know what, I not going to even get into this. Mayweather is UNDEFEATED and has fought quality opponents in his career. Maybe not so much at Welterweight, but definitely in the lower weight classes.
People I guess will always hate on him, and then when he beats up a hyped up fighter like Pac Man (I do think he is hyped up, though still a great fighter, people here give him WAYYYY to much credit) people will move to the next hype job. Mean while Mayweather will stay undefeated, and consistently good at his craft. When will you guys wake up and give Pretty Boy the props he deserves.
I read one person on this board say that Pac Man was a higher ranked ATG then Mayweather. ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS?? First of all, I think Mayweather is definitely a Hall of Famer, but I don't know about all time great. But if he is, he would definitely be ranked, or should be ranked, higher than Pac Man. He is just a better all around boxer and figher, and his ring intelligence and movement are off the charts. Pac Man fans, you know what, God bless Manny's heart and determination, he is great for the sport, but he AINT no ****ing Mayweather.

Its like Calzaghe saying how he would whoop Roy or Hopkins. Its like Hopkins saying how he would whoop Taylor. How Campbell says that he would do something. How Williams always says what he will do to cats. Its just boxing talk. It doesnt mean anything. Everyone talks like that but it seems to only stand out when Floyd says it
do you have any idea how funny you sound?

If there had never been an Oscar or if Oscar was a 135 pounder at the time then there is no way Floyd wouldve moved up in weight. He moved up to fight Oscar. Its just like if OScar was 160 and he moved up there to fight him. Now your going to call him a punk if he doesnt fight Pavlik? Those guys are naturally way bigger then him. He's not like Pac in that he can move up and be the biggest guy in every single division. Ive always said that not only is Floyd the P4P best but he's also P4P the smallest guy in boxing. He can just get away with it because his skill level is so high but he easily couldve stayed at LW his whole career and maybe just finished at 140 at the end. He's not a big guy at all but yet everyone wants him to fight a Williams, Margarito, Cotto, or Clottey who all make him look like a little boy when you see them next to eachother. All those guys come in the ring between 162-170 pounds while Floyd is coming in at 148-149. Its not fair.
Why does everyone think that these guys want to fight him? They want to fight him because they dont feel that he has any chance to hurt them, he's a little guy, he's the biggest pay day out there, he will have to pot shot them to win, and they will get the credit of beating the #1P4P guy in the sport. Its just like if they had to go fight at SMW or something. Even a year or 2 ago those same fighters were clowning Floyd and talking about how small he is. Even when the talk trash to the other fighters, they bring up Floyds name in a small way. Williams use to say that Floyd doesnt even belong at WW and Margarito just wants to fight him because they know that. Cintron always talked about how Floyd is too smalll and would get hurt by those guys. I still think he can win because he's that good but people are fools for saying that he has to fight these guys and there bigger fools for saying that there warriors and he's not just because there brave enough to fight guys who are there size and most of the times way smaller then them. How many times has Margarito fought someone bigger? He hardly ever has and he's lost when he's done it. We always talked about how Cotto never fought anyone close to his size so the Margarito fight will be a shock to him. Cotto makes Floyd look like a little boy and Margarito made Cotto look like a boy in the ring but yet people want to force Floyd to fight Margarito? It makes no sense.
Meanwhiile Floyd has fought a ton of guys bigger then him. He's always the smaller man. Let those guys do it and see. Think about it. He's the best fighter in the world and all those guys are jumping to fight him. Its not because there bad. Its because they know they have a huge advantage. You dont really think none of those guys are P4P on Floyd's level at all but you do think he might lose, why? Its because there so much naturally bigger & stronger.

Cotto isn't much bigger than Floyd, but Mayweather still doesn't want to fight him. A lot of great fighters overcame adversity, fighting bigger guys at higher weight classes and beating them. Floyd carefully picks his opponents and avoided the best at 147, so just stop making excuses for him.
Also, your point is kind of moot; it still does not mean that Floyd is not in a higher class than Pac Man. Floyd is clearly smaller than Margo and Clottey so its understandable that he would not take those fights. I think he should fight Cotto and Pac Man.

I dont buy that money stuff when it comes to those other guys. He wont fight them because he thinks there too big. I think he feels like me in that he's the better fighter and could win but he also has a chance of losing and he doesnt want to be one of those guys who lose just to lose. If he loses then he wants it to be because someone was better then him, not just because they were just too big for him to beat. He would never forgive himself if he lost like that and that is his fear. I also totally disagree about Cotto. Cotto is much bigger then Floyd. He much natrually bigger & stronger. Dude comes into the ring at 162 pounds. Dont get fooled by the Margarito fight. He's fought guys way bigger then Floyd and made them look like kids in the ring with his size & strength. Most think Mosley is clearly bigger, stronger, and more powerful then Floyd and Cotto made him look small and weak in the ring with him. You have to remember that this is WW. Ive always said that if Cotto had stayed at 140 then I could truly see Floyd fighting him but its a totally differnent fight at WW. Even at 140 Cotto was clearly way bigger but at WW he got even bigger while Floyd only gained 4 pounds.
Just look at the quotes from people and that tells you the story. You already saw what I wrote about what Williams & Cintron said. Manny Steward always rips Floyd but then in the next sentence he will say that he doesnt think anyone will beat Floyd except a huge WW. Thats basically saying that you only think he will lose because a guy is too big for him, not that there better. He and alot of others say dumb stuff like Floyd is good but he should never be compared to SRL or Hearns. I said why? When people say that kind of stuff its clear that there just thinking of those guys at WW when they were huge and Floyd now at WW but thats not a fair comparison. Floyds at his 4th weight and doesnt even belong there while they were huge WW's in there 1st class. I say that a better comparison is them at WW vs Floyd at 130. Doesnt he easily hold his own then? He's equally as good if not better and on top of that he moved up in weight way better then those guys ever did. Its like people think of those guys fighting eachother and they say that they will kill Floyd. Maybo so but its only a weight thing. You cant say that in a P4P sense because Floyd is as much of a beast at his natural weights as they are at there's and he's better at higher weights then they are but you cant take there best & strongest weight and compare it to his worst and weakest weight.
Hatton's team said before the Floyd fight that they wouldnt fight anyone else at WW but they will fight Floyd because he isnt a true WW and they beleive Hatton is naturally bigger & stronger. Arum & Roach just said that they wont let Pac fight the other WW's but they will let him fight Floyd because Pac is basically the same size. You rip Floyd but look at Pac. He just fought oscar but he wont fight Margarito or anything. Why? Its the same reason why Floyd fought Oscar but wont fight them. How can you talk about Floyd not taking chances and fighting big guys? Thats what he's been doing but that doesnt mean he should just be ****** about it. Ill say it again, people sweat these other guys but its not fear. Pac has fought great guys but there all his size and most of the time there smaller. Its the same for all those guys you named at WW. Floyd was doing the same thing when he was fighting Chico and such but he moved up. Still, he could go down to 140 right now, Kill Pac, Bradley and whoever. Then I bet he could still go to LW right now and destryoy JMM, Diaz, Campbell and all them because there his real size.
Its just like his fighting style. People rip his style of pot shotting and moving alot while not throwing any combos. Im like, dont you see what it really is? He's just fighting big guys now that its hard to keep off him so he has to fight like this. If he goes down to his natural weights at LW & 140 then he will be walking those guys down, throwing mad punches, going toe to toe, and having alot of KO's but no one wants to see that. Why? He will still be in his 2nd or 3rd weight class while all the guys you name are really in there 1st and there huge at that weight. Its just not fair comparisons.

what kind of journalism is this?
Mark Vester is actually on the payroll with this kind of article. It's ****....he's quoting mayweather from when he was active??? What a **** article....the past week Holyfield's decision has already made me lose some love of the sweet science, but putting out garbage articles like this is laughable
. Mayweather told his advisor this and that.....you know, 2 years ago mayweather said this about you pacman....LOL Boxingscene...WTF? More and more these articles are missing any kind of substance. More of this ****, i'll have to say screw and just read yahoo sports (which has no coverage, but the articles are real).
