Because we know Gatti was on the level of Ali in terms of ability; that's all it takes is heart....nope.

It all goes hand in hand. When you are "blessed" as they say, that boosts your confidence. You start to feel "special" because you are a gifted specimen unlike the many others. You are an alpha-male. You feel good; you look good. When this happens, there can be a match of inner-and-outer connection that builds confidence/heart.

I'm not sure but wasn't joe louis 185-190lbs? He'd get killed if that was the case

Prime Holyfield didn't "kill" Bert Cooper, Alex Stewart, Michael Dokes, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Michael Moorer, Dwight Qawi...

Louis was 6'2, 200-205 lbs. Pretty much the same as a prime Holyfield (who used to fight at 178-190).

I believe Holyfeild was one of thetrue great heavyweights. Never the less he needs to realize that he is watching a very old film in poor quality. It's not the same as watching a high definition, 52" flat screen live.

sorry, i didnt mean kill as in early KO, bad use of the word

it would have been a competitive fight, but holyfield would have worn him down and stopped him late

joe louis was slow as sedimentary rocks....after watching some tape of him im almost convinced he was the most overrated oldtime fighter besides all the white guys....lets be honest his competition was as weak as the heavyweights today....alotta old people really love joe louis so its hard to even argue it in real life.....prime holyfield would beat him easily......if he took rid**** bowes punches he could take joe louis easily....

Holyfield came in at 208 when he fought at heavyweight, but I think he would be the bigger dude, he had a very narrow waist which didn't hold a lot of weight, but he was very muscular and even bigger than some guys who weighed 220.

I have Holyfield winning this by KO, but I'm a Holyfield fanboy so what can I say.
