Mayweather is clearly the better fighter all around defense and offense, but he has been inactive for a long while now and Pac has been busy. So that helps even things out. This would be a great fight but there shouldn't be any best of all time talk. both fighters have avoided the best of their respective divisions.

I didn't figure he would actually be fighting at 147 by fight time after weigh-in at 145. He showed his 147 weight on 24/7 but I figured he dried out for the cameras for that day to help sell the fight...I just thought it was odd; nothing more. We learn from our mistakes. It's just hard being on the outside looking in to determine what exactly is taking place. It's why we can gather details after the fact when everything starts to come out and understand why. But during, few no what is going on because they keep it hush hush.

I think it's the only way Freddie would have allowed Manny to fight Oscar and probably from Oscar's side; in his mind, the only way to sell a fight.

Have you watch the fight? the movement of pacquiao is the reason why de la hoya cant explode... DLH cant corner pacquiao unlike floyd... When DLH fight PBF you can see that the movement of PBF is not as fast as Pacquiao... The head movement+foot work made de la hoya miss pacquiao that is the reason why he wasnt able to hurt pacquiao... DLH cant even hit pacquiao's head that is the reason why DLH targeted pac body... Unfortunately, pac can handle DLH punches and even exhcanges punches with DLH...

But of course you have your own opinion... I hope pac fight hatton first before floyd...

People get caught up in the media hype but both DLH and Hatton gave Mayweather all he could handle. Pac is on a whole different level. Pac has skills (offense and defense) speed, power, stamina and heart. He's a lot better than DLH and Hatton and he's no Castillo (who gave Floyd fits)... Pac would wreck Mayweather.

I agree with you somehow... But i think if floyd will be 100% as if he was before then it would be one hell of a fight if they clash...

Hatton will be destroyed in the same manner as David Diaz was annihilated... Hatton is also an easy target for pacquiao...

freddy knows what he is doing a hatton fight will probably get manny 3-4 mill guaranteed and the ppv will do modestly well in the states. the hatton fight is bigger if manny can beat floyd. right now the avg british box fan doesn't know who manny is.

the biggest money fight for pac and one that might get him 6-8 million guanteed is the floyd fight. ppvs would avg over 1.5 millioon for a fight like this, gate would be probably surpass hoya vs mayweather.

all the money is with a floyd fight and freddy realizes this.

After seeing what manny did to Oscar last wee and the manner in whcih he did it i honestly could see him beating Floyd to the unch. If Floyd is going to jump right backin the ring with manny rathe then a warm up contest with a less than dangerous fighter I would give manny much better chance to beat Floyd. Hatton will eat punches from pacman all night but it may be an exiciting brawl....Lefty
