Mayweather Has Flaws, Pacquiao Wants Him: Says Roach

Trainer Freddie Roach sees some serious flaws in the style of Floyd Mayweather Jr., who is rumored to be considering a return to the ring to challenge the current pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Manny Pacquiao. The Filipino fighter is in line to fight Ricky Hatton next May or June at junior welterweight. If Mayweather returns, he could end up stealing the Pacquiao fight from Hatton. Roach says that Mayweather is the fight that Pacquiao wants most. [details]

Mayweather has his flaws but he has way more postives than negatives and he covers up those flaws very well.

Floyd is human after all, so of course he has flaws. Can they take advantage of them is another question.

What Flaws? I would like to know myself. His hands? Who is going to test his hands on their face, especially when he uses ring posts to finish off his opponents. This is a bad fight for pacq, but I thought dlh would ko him so what do I know! I see a straight right being the setup for another ko via left hook!

This is great news. Pacman knows that a win over Mayweather would rank him nicely...

            Gotta love Pac's confidence.

It's obvious that Freddy ****Roach is just hyping up the fight. Mayweather has flaws but Pacquiao can't take advantage of them. A bigger, stronger fighter that throws alot of punches would give Mayweather his biggest challenge. Pac does throw alot of punches but he's not bigger and I don't believe he's stronger then Mayweather. Pac is in a win/win situation facing Mayweather. He'll get credit for facing the best and it won't damage his reputation if he lost to Mayweather because Mayweather is considered the best P4P fighter when he returns. Plus Mayweather would be considered the "bigger" fighter. Mayweather has more to lose but I see Mayweather dominating Pac.

everyone has flaws i suppose, maybe roach is talking about floyds hands or shoulder injuries

floyd is damn near perfect technically, but he doesnt like dealing with a stiff consistent jab and doesnt like to get roughed up, he would hate getting drawn into a dogfight......but thats easier said than done

                  Floyd is a versatile fighter.
.manny will be knocked out. He's better off senting Ricky into retirement than calling out Floyd.Everyone who called out Floyd got his ass beat.

In a way it's a negotiating ploy to get Ricky on the cheap.
