Yeah, Mayweather's not a gun-slinger. Hatton tried to get inside and make it a low down dirty dog fight, but Mayweather adapted.

Personally, i wouldn't mind Pacquiao getting his ***** together before fighting someone like Mayweather.

Let's wait for the new year to ring in before making assumptions.

You never know, Mayweather's hands can really be an issure. Who knows, maybe Mayweather is in retirement.

All fighters have flaws, no one fighter is perfect (regardless of a record).

All I know is if you're a betting man, it's tough to bet AGAINST Pacquiao. Of course people will say Floyd will embarrass him and that Pac is out of his league, but the reality is both guys haven't faced someone like one another. I've seen people compare Pac to Castillo (which I didn't get) and Pacman to Hatton (LOL @ that) when matching these two. But NOBODY knows what'll really happen.

Where are all the people that said Oscar was going destroy Pacquiao? There was a ****load of those people here. Of course, Oscar is no Floyd, but that doesn't mean whatsoever that Pacquiao can't beat Floyd. Being out of in ring competition and going straight into fighting the #1 fighter in the world is not an easy task. I'll respect Floyd heavily if he takes this fight.

The head movement+foot work made de la hoya miss pacquiao that is the reason why he wasnt able to hurt pacquiao... DLH cant even hit pacquiao's head that is the reason why DLH targeted pac body... Unfortunately, pac can handle DLH punches and even exhcanges punches with DLH...

But of course you have your own opinion... I hope pac fight hatton first before floyd...
The first matter is still that Pac had a Dead Man in front of him; even Freddie agrees.

Would Oscar have had trouble anyway, if he were the 164+ pound fighter he was on the night he fought Floyd; sure.

But when you are drained physically; you are drained mentally; they go hand in hand. Body and Mind connection.

We don't really know if Pac could have handled Oscar's big shots because he wasn't tested...especially against an alive version.

It's why I say people need to cross this fight out in their heads when they think of future fights; it will only cloud their vision.

For PBF: I said he wasn't the same fighter. The Lightweight version was better; faster, sharper, more active; and willing to take risks.

I think Floyd is contemplating right now whether to have a tune up or not. Fighting at 140, a tune up would be better.

I thought even Oscar disagreed that the weight was an issue?

I can't keep up with this.

The smart move for Floyd, if he does come back, is to have the fight at 147; and also have a tune-up; which would be interesting given Ray Leonard's try at come-backs and trouble.
Remember: He didn't come down for Hatton; not so sure he would do it for Pac. I think Floyd might like that luxury of not having to drain himself for a weigh-in when he knows there is no point if you aren't going to be fighting at that weight anyway; nor your opponent for that fact. When the fight is at 147, all he needs to do is take a quick piss and jump on the scales; two pounds is nothing.

Like I said before: If Floyd can't fight like he did about 3 or so years ago; don't come back; not against a fighter like Manny. But, I'm not Floyd and he knows a lot more about this game then me

                Before or after?

I know he at least told Freddie that he was right.

Freddie was the one that brought up the weight before, and especially after by breaking it all down. He also gave examples of fighters of the past that losing weight after being away from the division didn't work out.

I think Manny would have given trouble to Oscar no matter what; it's just that Oscar would have been more dangerous and alive at 154+
That's when the game-plan would have had to work.

I heard that you are probably a Mayweather representative. Is this true? You seem to know a lot about boxing. What's your background in this sport? Trainer, boxer, or just an educated fan of boxing?

manny loses almost every round to floyd unless he gets knocked out 1st.
