Pacman will get knocked out if Marg can find him, there's an if there, and Manny won't just go down and lay dead from 1 shot, it will take more than to keep this man down.

You brought up timing, timing is anticipating someone's moves, how can you anticipate someone's move/moves if he himself doesn't know what he'll do next? Pacman is a geometrical nightmare, he's not your ordinary orthodox fighter. He will try to overcome his opponent by coming from different angles, he will offer different looks, he will make you feel like you're surrounded, just like what Oscar felt that fateful night. Floyd's slick style might be rare, but I'm sure Freddie can find someone to simulate his moves, which I couldn't say the same for Floyd's camp if this fight pushes through. He won't see anything like it come fight night, much to his dismay...
Because it's Floyd Mayweather Jr; not some ordinary fighter. Floyd's skills have been developed since childhood; literally beaten into him...plus his genes.
Floyd has "It" when it comes to this. Could "It" fade: sure...it happens...it did with Ali.

The only person to come close to Floyd is James Toney; yeah, James Toney has to spar Pac, but, Toney isn't the same either.

Oscar tried to get Shane to mimic Floyd and Shane does a great impression of him, but Shane isn't Floyd.

Manny's not fighting at 147 which show you Freddie has no confidence in that division; he knows his fighter.

It seems reasonable when you dream about it that Manny could keep bouncing in and out on slow Margarito, but Margarito will tag him because of how often he throws and he continues to move forward. One shot by him, eh, not good...which is why Freddie doesn't want to see it.

Cotto: I'm not sure how much Margarito took out of him, which will be interesting, but again, not a good fight and Freddie will not risk it...even though it would be interesting to see. A Cotto shot to the body on Manny's body....

Cintron: Eh, one shot from him and Manny will be asleep.

          Clottey: forget it

Berto: not a good matchup, but it will be an exciting fight....I would like to see it.

I'm sure I could find positives in each fight for Manny based on what he can do, but his chin isn't of that of a Welterweight level.

          So what were your thoughts?

Oh, and Floyd can try to see if he can get El Cubano to spar with him even though he is a righty.

I'm still not sold on Manny being leagues above where he was with his lightweight days just because he looked good against a decent fighter in Diaz and a shot Oscar.

When Pac lost to Morales, there wasn't a lot or prominent excuse that happened. Most of the pacfans congratulated Morales or kept quiet.

and hope Floyd doesn't see flaws in Pac.

As well as having age, inactivity and hope that Floyd doesn't start fighting from round 1 again like he used to.

It would be funny if Floyd came out there and fought early like he used to. Land a real hard right-cross in the opening seconds.

I think he is relying on what Floyd has look like in the past couple of years and where he could be at next year...which may be Floyd now, but sometimes, fighters can draw on their old self if it isn't to far gone.

I could see many of the Pacmans giving props to Floyd and saying Manny just lot to a bigger fighter who was P4P King.

But, I can't see the same from many of the Jrs.

                  Die-hard fans I'm talking about.

You won't see me saying that Pacman can easily beat Hatton or Floyd, because nobody knows what's going to happen, that's why they fight the fights.

You're now saying Oscar's overtrained after the fact, what were you saying again before the fight? Yeah, I thought so...
Your not hyping the fight against Oscar? You said Pac has evolved in his 2 fights since his 2nd fight with JMM. That just leaves Diaz, who stood in front of Pac and took punches all night. It wasn't even close to competitive.

About the Delahoya fight, I was saying it was a farce. I thought DLH would put about 10 lbs. on between the weigh in and fight time and use his size advantage to win. Had it happened that way, a DLH win would have meant nothing as far as Pac's abilities at his optimum fighting weight. Though I was wrong about the outcome, it was still a mismatch and still didn't mean much. If (when?) he loses to Mayweather or even Hatton they'll say Pac just went up a weight class too high, and Pac gets to cash in.

Pac has unfinished business at 135. He should try to clean up the division before he continues his weight hopping. But he won't cause Marquez is there waiting for him.
