Well of course he is. I wouldn't rank him as high up as the very best who ever did it, but he's still just only about a level underneath those guys.

      The Very Best=ATGs

The Level Under=Great Fighters with a little more to prove

Now that we have that established I agree with you.

What?! Like it or not Floyd is one of the very best who did it. You don't have to be ranked within the top 10 or 20 to be considered one of the all-time greats. There are about 100 guys throughout history who would fit in that category and Floyd is one of them.

If floyds and atg, so is calzaghe... FTW
Floyd hasn't accomplished more then Calzaghe, I'd say its about even.

And I don't even consider Calzaghe an atg either. I consider him a great hof fighter but thats about it. I'm kind of strict on who I say is an atg.

Apparentlywe have a different view of ATGs Im talk about the best ever if we go on not quite as good as a lot but better than a lot then Arturo Gatti is an ATG theres only been a couple thousand guys who could have beaten him, and I dont like it or dislike it I just wish fighters had to prove they were great nowadays without everyone saying a skilled fighter who didnt take enough risks is an ATG. Come back and clean out 147 and hes a definite ATG, he said hes better than SRL Leonard beat HAgler PBF needs to come beat Hopkins PROVE to me you're an ATG before I jump on any bandwagons

You guys narrow down the ATG rating too much. Guys like Joe Cal and Floyd are among the greatest fighters in their era, hence earning them all-time great status.

By the way, personally I'd rank Floyd higher than Joe Cal, Floyd has beaten more top tier fighters in his career than Calzaghe IMO.

Hopkins was in his prime hater, everyone knows Hopkins got better with age unless you're a true hater. How come at the end of Hopkins career he destroyed fighters like tarver, pavlik, but not calzaghe? No, what he did in the calzaghe fight was clinch 200 times(which is quite illegal, yet he wasn't warned once for it)... Because he knew that was the way to slow Calzaghes workrate down.

Something seemed fishy about Calzaghe/Hopkins as if the ref was paid off to let that cheating clinching **** go on.

LOL B-Hop is his prime? Don't make me laugh...a prime B-Hop had 15 round stamina and would have K.O'd Calzaghe. Watch B-Hop vs Johson, Antwun, Mercado

                    Just to get an idea

Well no way would I rank him as high as the Leonard's of boxing history, but the guy is a mulit-divisional champion who's beaten the likes of Judah, De La Hoya, Castillo, and Corrales. all guys who were at the elite level when mayweather spanked them. All that is more than enough for me to rank him among the best.

I'd rank him in that mid level of the best, no way he's as great as he thinks he is, but the man has a legit claim as boxing royalty and he doesn't necessarily have to clean 147 out to achieve that status because he's already at that ATG level.
