Well, if you will watch a game of football between two dog****e clubs, what do you expect?

Fair do's to the septics, they've got the entertainment side of things down pat even if nothing else.

I hate the culture that surrounds Rugby teams as well, and this is coming from someone who was a part of one for a period of time. There is an inbred arrogance and lack of concern for others. You'll notice at every university in this country that the Rugby teams always act like wankers.

I play American Football for my university team and you really do appreciate how much of a complete team sport it is from playing. Everyone has to do there job if a play is to work. Sure you get some examples of individual brilliance, but usually if something works, it works because a block was held or a misdirection confused someone. No other sport like it.
If you ever end up playing the Admirals give me a shout i'll pop along and cheer you on, you can buy me a beer afterwards []

Don't think many of us Brits can be bothered trying to work out what the **** is actually going on during an NFL game .

There just seems to be too many rules & stoppages & the build up to matches seems to drag on for days and days - or is that just for the superbowl?

Wembley has sold out twice when the NFL has come over so there must be a few people interested in it over this side of the pond.

Just don't try and bring American rounders over here ok, now that **** is mindnumbing.

I can sit and watch cricket, but baseball has to be the single most boring 3 hours you can ever spend in front of a TV set.

I seriously doubt this, many American sports have tried it over here but not been successful, as a big motor racing fan i remember when CART (Indy racing) tried to come over here it was successful the first few times but people lost interest and went back to watching F1. I believe that there is a following of the NFL over here but it is a minority sport and will struggle to gain viewers. I remember seeing the viewing figures for the Super bowl, Inside America the viewing figures where massive but outside of the states it had just a couple of million viewers which is terrible compared to F1 or Football.

NFL is not popular in the UK, not one bit. It may as a one off novelty event but not as a sport, the amount of Americans at the last game at Wembley was amazing. And i'd like to echo my disaprovale and dislike for the sport, they are over paid pansies and couldn't last a full game of Rugby league or union!!!! It is a big joke, a pantomime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

too much aggresion not enough skill

i know some Americans will come on and say thier is plenty of skill involved but how much skill can be involved at the end of the day you are crunching people with tackles and throwing a ball their maybe different formations and plays but thats about it as far as skill goes it seems

                      Americans love physical sports
