Trinidad Felt Since He Had Won He Deserved A Larger Split Of The Pay, Oscar Felt He Was The Bigger Draw So He Deserved A Larger Split. Thus The Fight Never Happened. Then Later On In Their Careers, Weight Became An Issue. Oscar Was Never A Legit Middleweight, So He Didn't Want To Have The Fight In That Class, Tito Didn't Want To Go Back Down In Weight.

I Don't Know What Juanma Is Doing Criticizing, Thanks To Oscar Vs. Pacman He Is Going To Get A Chance To Shine In Front Of A Lot Of Viewers And Hopefully Get Him Some More Fans.
You Basically Stated The Facts And The Obvious, Which Is Good Because Some People Really Need To Know The Obvious.
But Point Blank, Oscar De La Hoya Is One Of The If Not The Richest Boxer/promoter In The Game. Boxing Is About Business And Find Out Who Is The Best. He Conquered The Business Aspect And Has The Money. Why Would He Not Fight Trinidad When He Was Supposed To If He Truly Felt He Could Win? We All Know Trinidad Would Have Fought Him For The Right Price(we Know This Simply By Trinidads Fight Competition After Hoya). The Fact Is Hoya Will Forever Have To Live With The Fact That He Didnt Fight Trinidad And Live With The History Books And The Loss He So Called "could Have Avenged".for What? If He Could Afford Everything And Anthing He Ever Wanted. And Juan Ma Has The Right To An Opinion He Fights For A Living.

Theres a load of people de la hoya could have fought, but no, he went after a small guy. Everybody knows what the outcome is going to be. If he had real mexican balls he would have moved up to middleweight and fought pavlik!

              Juanma is niave

Juanma is still young and hasn't been exposed to the game long enough to know any better. Trinidad can't even make a decent weight to fight De La Hoya at this point in his career. Plus Papa Trinidad is getting way too old and crazy by demanding a 50/50 split w/ De La Hoya even when Trinidad can't make a decent weight. I don't respect De La Hoya as a boxing fan, however I won't deny he still has more drawing power than any boxer in the game to date. Plain in simple Trinidad is washed up and De La Hoya still has some shine to his stardom. It's Simple- just look where the two fighters are at right now, at THIS POINT IN THEIR CAREERS.

If life was so simple Trinidad wouldn't be washed up. Only Great minds can see simple things. Simpletons can't really see much.

So you think Trinidad deserves 50/50 split right now??
