LOL: you are bringing up an amateur fight against a young Forrest?
We've seen plenty of examples of how it changes when you go Pro and mature.
Yes, it's Tszyu's fault for losing to Phillips and then Hatton. He just blew two Mega-Fights; Oscar...and then...Floyd.
Yes, it was Tszyu's fault for never moving up to the hottest division during that time: 147.
He could have moved up after he gained his credibility back when he won his title back...but he didn't.
Tszyu was well respected by them all; this is true. But Tszyu should have moved up and taken those fights...at least after he won his title back...move up. His proble was that he lost to Phillips and he had to regain what he lost.Comment

IMDAZED first brought up the Forrest fight. The rest of your post is opinion. You believe that Tszyu somehow should have chased the big money around the weight divisions in hopes of getting the big fight. I believe that nobody has the right to claim he's the greatest JrWW of the era unless he beat Kostya Tszyu.
Tszyu's probably the best 140 pounder of the era; agree. But I'm not quite sure how it all works out. He did lose to Phillips...and it would favor Tszyu because Floyd didn't fight there long...and Shane and Oscar moved past 140.
But Tszyu should have moved up to fight the bigger legacy fights. That would have shown he was on that "ELITE" level.
I also think he should have fought Phillips again.
Tszyu could have placed himself very high in history had he moved up and won.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 11-30-2008, 10:26 PM.Comment

Another thing is that Judah was completely in control at the time of the stoppage. His hand speed and power was causing Tszyu lots of problems.Comment
