He's looking for a rematch to fight Cotto because he is the MAN at WW. He draws in the most money and Marg. already beat Cotto. Can you tell me why he won't fight Williams and avenge his most recent loss or Mosley who calls him out since your so smart? What's your theory? That's what boxing is all about. BALLS..... CHICO! BALLS!!
Why he won't fight Williams. My theory is because he possibly feels he can't beat him perhaps, I don't know, I'm not Tony.
Why he won't fight Mosley. My theory is because Shane being 37 years old, would be a pretty insignificant win in the welterweight landscape.
Joe Calzaghe just caught tons of **** and very little credit for beating a 39 year old Jones.
I don't see Tony getting very much if any credit for beating Shane Mosley.

It is WIDELY KNOWN that Margarito's biggest payday was his fight with Williams in which he made $1.6 million and that wasnt a PPV fight. You can say all day long there is an article out there that says he made that much but you arent going to produce it.

But other than that he doesn't have any options.
Oh by the way name me a current ww with more victories over top 10 ww's. name a ww with 9 championship defenses. name a ww that has fought lujan, williams, clottey, cintron(2x's), and cotto. name me a ww whose resume beats that. I'll be waiting.

Don't fight people who you beat, fight people who you lost to or a ranked challenger. Avenge your losses. Like COTTO is doing. Look at the wars he had at 140 against Torres. I'm sorry, but turning down Mosley makes him look like a money hungry *****! But hey, thats the business of boxing, right?

However, there is a business aspect to it that ruins many potential matchups.
Floyd Margarito and Shane Margarito are not even comparable.

He should fight Mosley for the 2 mills though!!!!!
