Dude, you are making all sorts of irrational arguments. What Mayweather did and what Margarito did are worlds apart. Mayweathers business decisions, no matter how *****-made they made him look, made him the HIGHEST PAID ATHLETE in 2007. Like him or not (and I am no Mayweather fan), he made more money then Puff Daddy in 2007. Margarito on the other hand has made only $1.3 million dollars in 2008 and will probably be paid the same in the rematch. He has passed on 2 fights that would have made him $6million. It doesnt take a Phd to see this has nothing to do with good business. this isnt about business or get back at GBP. Margarito aint taking no money out of Oscars pocket or Shanes pocket. HBO STILL is offering $4 million for the January date so the money Margarito passed on, another fighter will get.

I watch sporting events because of the sport.

Groupies watch sporting events to see how much money an athlete makes.

he didn't take the rematch with williams. i don't know if there was ever a rematch in talks with clottey but it should happen.

#3 he lost (rematch is a must, especially is the fighter that beat you is calling you out constantly)
#4 had contoversy (should be a rematch to put the controversy to sleep)
#5 cintron has not done **** to be so highly rated.
#2 rematching cintron whom you made literaly cry the first time around was not a fight that had a public demand for (unlike #3 & #4) Thats even worse than Cotto rematching Quintana or Judah
#1 can't say anything about this. Very meaningfull fight against a dangerous fighter and he won by KO. Although he was not very impressive before the KO, but a KO win nontheless.

1. Came up to welterweight and went straight for the highly rated Quintana. (who by the way schooled the man who beat margo)
2. KOd Judah.
3. Beat Mosly
4. If you want to add Williams to Margos list. Then Margo should be added to Cottos list.
Also, keep in mind that margo has been at welter WAY longer than cotto has.

Bottom line Margo resume at WW doesn't blow Cottos away. They are pretty close with Margos edging it slightly. And for all of you guys saying Margo wouldn't get credit for beating mosly, it would have been his 2nd biggest win.
