No he can't not even close.

You can also easily place No's 41-70 and probably 71-80 above him aswell, like i said it gets hairy once you get into the 80-100 range so that probably where he fits.

face it if RJJ is in teh 40-50 bracket, ODLH is in the 50-60 bracket and Tyson is in the 60-70 bracket, you are going to struggle to convince anyone that Calzaghe belongs in teh top 40 mate.

I mean i can happily conceed that Calzaghe migth be above Pirez or Dirk Tiger and in amoungst Toney based on Resume but you are going to have to do some real fast talking to get me to put him above Benitez or Gans and Ketchel.

Floyd could beat 7 or 8 journeymen in one night(85% of Joe's career), he has fought better fighters PERIOD! And is the better fighter P4P.

Disagree............Calzaghe is clearly to be placed higher than Erik Morales, and look where you have him. Keep it real.

Nothing but a nationalistic fanboy son.

Only guy's going to agree with you are fellow fanboys, or those who genuinley consider the likes of Pudwell (sp?) and Brewer were world class p4p boxers when they faced calzage (lmao)

I don't think so. You take an overmuscled medically induced superguy and give him 7 rounds of intense action; What do you get? An exhausted sack of flour. Calzaghe's stamina separates him from most all others. Just ask Roy Jones, Jr.

              lmfao.

I would like to, but i reckon he'll still be recovering from his Two KO Losses to Tarver and Johnson... about 5 years ago.

Dang, Calzaghe was planning to face Michael Spinks and Qawi at LH.. Mentally obtuse indivuduals such as yourselves will probable be like "oh noes, teh passed-his-prime Calzaghe beat Michael Spinks and Qawi!!11"

That's not an argument at all.

Calzaghe wasn't the greatest in his own time.

He was undefeated and finished career eating up the likes of Kessler, Hopkins, and Jones, Jr. .... that's pretty darn convincing to me. He's in the debate for GOAT....no doubt about it.....I don't care about the color of his skin. He was great.

if you keep insisting the shot jones jr win was career defining i don't think you will have any credibility. but i'm sure you know that and you just want to name drop a once great fighters name into the conversation to bolster calzaghe's flimsy resume.
