Just making fun of the fact that the thread starter said that he ended up losing.

And that he is 100% convinced that Mayweather ducked Tszyu, Margarito and Cotto... all of them, which is why he isn't even close to an ATG.
Yup. He's a ****ing moron and a coward to boot.

I'm glad other people remember his ENDLESS bull**** about hatton destroying floyd. He's got some nerve coming on here and saying he knew Hatton was overrated but just was a fan now.

What a lying two faced douche you are Wiley. Also you were wrong about Lopez. Be a man and admit it. *****.

Calzaghe's talent is based on a unique skill. He's both right and left handed. I'll bet you didn't know that. I don't know of one other major boxer that had such an ability. Perhaps you can now make sense of what you see when you watch Calzaghe at work. Only a great boxer could connect with 1000 punches in one fight...I don't care if it's strictly athletisicm, technique, or a combination of both. Get real. Calzaghe is amazing.
Mike tyson. God you are ****ing ******.

      • Here's another problem I have with calling Calzaghe the greatest of all time.

Right now, when we are limited to currently active boxers, the most respected authority on boxing, The Ring, has him at #3 in the sport.

So if a respected boxing media outlet has Pacquiao and Marquez ahead of him, don't you think that someone like Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Robinson or Henry Armstrong would easily beat him in an question of all time greatness?

While Hopkins knocked him down, he also lost the fight. He had Pavlik in much more trouble than Calzaghe ever was a number of times throughout the fight and nearly had him in bad enough shape to get the fight stopped a couple of times. Jones is capable of knocking just about anyone out, and funnily enough, it would have been better for Calzaghe if he had been hit by the punch, as it would not have hurt him as much as taking the forearm bone flat out on the bridge of the nose. Either way, Jones also still lost the fight, badly.

A highly suspect chin is only so if it loses you fights or you are getting dropped by half strength, non flush punches a lot and they're actually doing damage, putting you in trouble. Calzaghe has been dropped four times across a 46-0 nearly two decade career. Jones and Mitchell were big power punchers, capable of KO's with one shot. He beat Mitchell by KO in the same round he was dropped in. He has never looked like he could be stopped after being knocked down because he was so badly hurt. That is not indicative of a highly suspect chin.

The Salem punch was the worst he's taken I think. He was off balance and out of position and took a very hard right hook straight on the chin. He may not have gone down from that alone except Salem then hit/pulled him down from the back of the head with a follow up left, rather similar to the Hop knockdown, which was as much a push as the punch actually knocking him down. He wasn't hurt at all.

wow wow, if teh wrist did that much damage, im pretty ****in sure the punch would've ripped his granite jaw off, glove or no glove, he ducked right into that

The thing is... he couldn't have hit him with his glove when he was in that position... which is why he got an uncovered bone to the nose.

I agree with Benny... I'm not sure he goes down had the bone not hit him, because I'm not sure the fist could have.

position? if i throw a punch and someone moves out of the way for that punch no **** i was'nt in the position i thought, or maybe the person moved?.. no that's impossible

what im sayin is(yes lets move their positions, preferbly calzaghes) if jones punch had landed it would have done far more damage than that of the wrist bone

and calzaghe saw the punch in the last second, he moved towards jones body to avoid a flush hit, also it would have landed on his chin, which i really wish it had, it would stop with this constant overrating of a great fighter, maybe an atg, but defianetly not the g.o.a.t
