But it's no assumption as to what he did. He did beat both Hopkins and Jones. So those "assumptions" become much more plausible if you think about it objectively.

He beat both Hopkins (barely) and Jones when they where both 40 or damm close to it. These victories do not mean anything.

Do you honeslty think Calzaghe could have lasted 5 rounds with a prime roy? not a chance

prime roy wud have ripped joe calzaghe apart. i think hopkins won the fight back in april. calzaghe can't call himself a BOXER, he is simply a tremendous athlete with incredible stamina and has the uncanny ability to throw over 1000 punches a fight, so he's decided to use that athleticism to overwhelm his opponents not through boxing skill, but unfortunately just through this natural gift of his to overwhelm his opponents with over 100 punches a round. his actual boxing talent is not much in credit to his wins where as true ATG's such a pretty boy floyd or ali beat their opponents thru SHEER BOXING TALENT and RAW SKILL. you simply can't admire calzaghe as a boxer? go down to ur local boxing gym, do you see the young lads copying the footwork/boxing technique of true ATG's like ali, rjjr, floyd or lowlifes like calzaghe? there's your answer. nowhere near top 50 ATG is my opinion. his record is impressive but it is a fraud

His record is impressive but is also a fraud? How does that one work?

How can you spew such biased excrement and retain any sense of credibility?

Calzaghe's talent is based on a unique skill. He's both right and left handed. I'll bet you didn't know that. I don't know of one other major boxer that had such an ability. Perhaps you can now make sense of what you see when you watch Calzaghe at work. Only a great boxer could connect with 1000 punches in one fight...I don't care if it's strictly athletisicm, technique, or a combination of both. Get real. Calzaghe is amazing.

That is not defense, its reflexes. He sees punches very well.

Edit: As for the threadstarter's question- I don't really know what the objective of the question is, but no. Just... no.
