Chavez was never a one punch knock artist and he wiped Mayweather out early twice, and he was also blown away fast( in the first i think) by Lockridge. Manchine was right about the Tyszu fight, Roger made the distance shockingly. It seemed like towards the end of his career his defense had picked up.

Chavez did not blow him away the second time he actually Boxed quite well untill Chavez caught up with him in the second part of the fight but yeah i agree he still got smashed up in anycase and he had an awefull chin

you made me hate him just more, i hate him enough as it is, that said, james toney may still be a great heavyweight if its posible for him to stay at 215 with his slick style, he may be a threat to valuev or chagaev

yeah youre right about him giving valuev and chagaev problems

but honestly the morons on here think size is everything......yeah its a factor but it aint everything, and when the skill difference favours the smaller man it can be negated

i agree whole heartedly here however i felt a telling factor in Toney's first loss to Peter was that Peter just physically overpowered him a lot of the time

just to make it clear i thought Peter won both fights ,what a fight the first one was BTW better than Wlad v Peter imo that fight was good untill Wlad started running away from Peter

james toney is more disgraceful than fernando vargas, toney loses and loses and still tals **** like he were the best, toney is a fat unmotivated complaining ass steroid taking, unrealistic fat piece of turd that doesnt realize its time to mature, stop talking trash and quit

I am pretty positive that toney got so fat because he abused steroids. Just look at him when he was younger, he didn't look like the type at all that would pack on lbs like he ended up doing.
I had a friend that was 6'2 and 160 lbs. He was really wiry and veiny and definitely not the type to get plump, ever. Well for some ****** reason he abused steroids "probably from peer pressure" and ended up getting fat as hell. The steroids messed with this thyroid gland and hormones. He looked ridiculous

Same thing happened to Fernando vargas and the same thing happend to James Toney.

And no I'm not a doctor and can't prove it, but common sense tells me I am right.
