James Toney is a future HoFer and one of the best of his era. a true p4p fighter who has won titles at MW, SMW, and Cruiserweight, and has managed to compete with some of the top HW's around today

i feel toney can be underrated by some today as the version we all see now is chubby and past his best....

he is a throwback fighter, and one of the only fighters around today who can stand in close and not be hit, and throw counters in response

he has a record of 70-6-3-2 with 43 wins by KO and no losses by KO, you wont see an elite fighter with a record like that ever again IMO

and who doesnt love his trash talk? even if he seems arrogant its always fun to watch

show some love for a true fighter, nearing the end of his career....although im kinda afraid the guy will keep fighting till hes like 60 or something lol, the way hes going....

When I was watching old clips of Archie Moore fighting it reminds me so much of Toney.

Unbelievable fighter, one of my very favourite fighters.

My favourite three performances of his were Barkley, Jirov and Nunn.

I think it's ridiculous how everyone seems to think Toney got lucky against Nunn. Watch it again - he was systematically breaking down Nunn, and eventually did.

Such a beautiful fighter to watch - slick, skillful and so relaxed in the ring.
