Does anyone really like Calzaghe outside of the UK?

Throwing 1000 punches and only landing 200 is not good boxing. I'd rather see a master of his craft land about 35% of his shots and throw maybe 600 punches. Volume punches are **** compared to accurate crisp punches.

According to compubox, Calzaghe's percentage landed was, 35%. Oh and volume punches are not ****, if you miss a punch and don't get countered, you don't lose ground.

They are not cherished by all but everyone does respect their style(atleast mayweather, probably respect what hopkins does at his age). I don't think a ton of people respect Calzaghes style. Floyd was quick, very slick, and picked his opponents apart. Calzaghe gets by what a lot of people consider as slaps. When he bullies someone up against the ropes and just punches gloves its boring and shows that he isnt very accurate unlike Mayweather.

Hell he is so entertaining some of that even spilled over and made hopkins look like something other then a giant sleeping pill.

So, quit the hate, I know you are looking for an angle to criticize on Joe, and you clearly got none, but the more you write the less sense you make.
