I'm American, I don't hate on boxers because they're not from our country.

Its great to see a lot of punches but when there is very little power behind it how exciting is it honestly? I look at guys like Cotto and Margarito who have fans all around the world and it makes me think Calzaghe is just a brit thing. A product of them being able to **** their chest and act like they are above the world. I bet if Calzaghe lost they would throw their golden boy to the ditch. I don't see that with Cotto. I am a fan and many that are not from PR are fans.
yeah, am man who throws 100 punches a rond and show bots the entire fight and basically humiliates nearly all of his oponents, yeh,.............sure hes boring

Throwing 1000 punches and only landing 200 is not good boxing. I'd rather see a master of his craft land about 35% of his shots and throw maybe 600 punches. Volume punches are **** compared to accurate crisp punches.

Calzaghe is far more exciting than Hopkins
Ok Mayweather might be the most exciting of the three
but id watch Joe over Hopkins anyday of the week and so would most.

For the record I cannot stand Hopkins as a man, and for the last 5 years he's bored me silly as a fighter.

Doesn't mean I don't respect him though, maybe some of you Yanks could take a look at that and try to do likewise.

I don't hate Calzaghe because he isn't from America. Juan Diaz is from the USA and I hate him. Throwing a ton of punches with no power behind them is boring and meaningless.

Where do you get the idea that Calzaghe is not popular outside of the UK? You don't speak for other people, so stop pretending you do.

I am from the U.S and I have been a fan of Calzaghe for a long time, before he was even known by the main stream.
