There might have been no competition for RJJ, but thats also the reason why he moved up to heavyweight and back. You gotta give the man credit for that much of a weight gain.

Plus, its not just resume that determines P4P IMHO. I think it also has to do with how decisively you beat your competition and the boxer's overall skillset. After all, it's not the fighters fault if there isn't any decent competition in his division.

he was fighting UNKNOWN fighters at the pinnacle of his career. you don't see pac fighting no names. as much as i hate mayweather, he was at least fighting known fighters even though he was still dodging cotto.

jones is a good guy, and a great fighter, but the fact is he dodged people, and he wasnt what a #1 p4p champ should represent.

bring the hate, i love it.
So in one line you say "Jones is a good guy and a great fighter" and in the next "bring the hate, i love it". Contradict yourself much?

Did you just recently become a Boxing fan?, and you were just 9 or 10 years young at the pinnacle of Roy's career, how well could you comprehend and assess his career? Do your research before making such a blatant comment, talk about hate?, seems you have plenty for an ATG.

His resume is solid, he's beaten a lot of past and present contenders and titlists.

He gets bashed because he never fought Michalczewski, but he never showed any interest in fighting out of Germany (just once in Poland). Why Roy Jones had to go to Germany if he was the man of the moment?
