BoxRec lists it as a DQ.
    Wow, this story gets interesting.

Germany's Dariusz Michalczewski retained his WBO light heavyweight title, earning a draw against Graciano Rocchigiani after he was knocked down in the seventh round from a late blow.

Michalczewski (31-0-1, 26 KOs) was counted out after his compatriot stunned him with a left to the chin midway through the round. The blow appeared to come after referee Joseph O'Neill stepped between the fighters and twice called for them to break.

After 10 minutes, WBO officials ruled the fight even to that point, letting Michalczewski retain his title after he couldn't continue.

"I'm speechless. Either I'm disqualified (for a late blow) or I win on a knockout -- there's no other possibilities," said Rocchigiani (38-3-2, 16 KOs).

You come over and fight the champ on his land, simple as that. Dariusz would not fight Jones in America. Jones was the recognized name and a 3 weight champion when the fight should have happened. I don't care who was overrated or not. Roy would have whipped Dariusz easily.
Would have. Could have. Should have. Didn't. The story of Roy's career, really. Fantasy fights over the internet don't make up for the real thing.

Two of Roy's belts (WBA and IBF) were stripped from Dariusz, not won in the ring, one for daring to display it alongside his WBO belt and the other for not meeting a mandatory. Dariusz was also the linear champ, having beaten Virgil Hill before Roy got to him. Dariusz was at ringside for one of Roy's fights, and several times said he was prepared to fight him in America. Guys like Roy Jones do not turn down easy paydays and methinks there's something Roy just didn't fancy about Dariusz, much like Tarver. That's not to say he would have beaten Roy, but when you're earning millions cleaning out the NYPD, why take a risk? When you consider that Roy also banned his fellow HBO commentators from mentioning Dariusz, it makes you wonder.

I don't have written proof, but I thought it was pretty well known that there was an unofficial embargo on the word Dariusz, imposed by Roy, at HBO.

Kid McCoy is a legit boxing historian so he knows what he's talking about.

Jones did a lot of things to avoid fighting Tarver.

This isn't the point, IMO Roy would have schooled him but he was the best out there in Roy's division and they never fought
