Dariusz technically unified all four belts, as he also beat Rocchigiani, whose WBC belt was infamously (and illegally) stripped from him and handed back to Roy.
For the record, I would back Roy to beat Dariusz, although it would be his biggest test at 175 and it wouldn't be as easy as some of his fans reckon. Some seem to think a lot of people picking Roy to win a fantasy match-up over the internet is as good as a W on his record.
Roy's resume is hardly overflowing with stellar challenges at light-heavy, and whether it was down to his fear of flying, fear of foreign officiating, excessive pay demands or just an unwillingness to leave his comfort zone, he avoided the chance to put a legacy fight against a legitimate 48-0 WBA/IBF/WBO/linear champion on his resume. Had he done that, at a stroke one of the major criticisms of him would be no more.
