Morales is a better fighter than Corrales, Morales would have beat his ass if they had fought at 130.

Barrera wasn't over the hill, nobody thinks this..he was near Prime in the first fight.

Marquez just kicked Casamayors ass and beat Barrera, how is he over the hill..he also had 2 brutal fights with Pac-Man.
    Barrera-Pacman 1 happened at 126

Morales only win in a dont know ho many fights was against Pac, doesnt sound like prime to me.

I need to hit up box rec more often..

My point is still Valid though, the only over-the-hill fight was Morales vs Pac 3

nobody leaves room for the option of Pacquiao getting better, which is sad.

What ever prime Morales had was all used in the first Pacquiao fight. He left everything in that fight. No one can say he was still prime in the rematch. He was a lesser fighter than the first

Did you watch the Raheem fight?

Pac got a helluva lot better, but where does Raheem fit in that?

Pac is still improving. He and Freddie are a great team.

Who was the more better boxer at 130lbs though? I would say Floyd because he didn't need dodgy decisions going his way.

                lol i like your sig

He didn't need dodgy decisions because his oponents weren't as good as Pacquiaos. Pacquiao would be way to fast for Corrales at 130 he'd beat him up just as Mayweather did. Pacquiao has never struggled against a slower fighter, this is why Barrera fell to him so easy..and even Barrera is quicker than Corrales.

I understand what you mean, but my point is, why is it safe to discount all his losses at those early weights (which i do), but its ok to put him on a pedastool because of it? If the greatness matches the weight classes he fought in, then the losses should count as well.

I dont agree with that logic, but even though pac started at 108, which is commendable, it doesnt have much bearing on weather or not mayweather would have had the better resume at 130, nor does it really examine the fact, which has already been pointed out, that pacs career as a full grown man started at 122.

He was just a kid growing into his body, if americans could do the same, we would.
                    This is actually 100% true.

When Mayweather was the same age as Pacquiao when Pacquiao turned pro, he was fighting in the amatuers at like 108 I believe. I broke it down once. They were pretty close in weight for the first few years after 16.

Pacquiao but I think Floyd would beat him, and Floyd has the better overall resume.
