Holmes being an older fighter didn't have the iron chin and will to take brutally hard shots, which is fine and understandable, so he got knocked out. You could argue about him going out after and giving Holyfield a good fight, but couple of things:
1. Holyfield still never hit as hard as Tyson. The point I'm trying to make is that Tyson was weak minded when people could take his shots. He was never stable in his prime anyway. He was a monster, but that monster would be stopped when people could stand up to him. Holmes being an older fighter, couldn't.
Holmes is still a great win for him though, I'm just saying. Holyfield and Lewis would have beaten him Prime for Prime. Same with Ali for that matter, but I was kind of referencing guys.
As for Vitali vs Tyson, I think it's close, but Tyson was incredibly fast and had a good workrate and even though Vitali is tall and awkward as hell, I think Mike gets to him.

That's the thing, Klitschko isn't a stationary target, he always used movement, awkward movement, to get out of the way of punches. Tyson would have a hard time getting to him because there would be a big height difference and punching up takes some snap and speed out of the punches plus Klitschko has a very good chin, so if he survives the initial Tyson onslaught, Klitschko can win.
