First of all, you called Reid a bum. So if you think that Reid is a bum, and that Reid is equal to Miranda, then I guess Miranda is a bum too.

Robin Reid was a very good fighter, but he was inconsistent. He won an Olympic medal (could Miranda do the same? No. He's not good enough technically, and doesn't have the speed or timing).

How many times have you seen Robin Reid fight?

Reid went to Italy and won the WBC title. He went to Germany and won the WBA and IBF title in the eyes of everyone other than the officials. That fight in cited as one of the worst robberies of all time.

Reid holds a win over Julio Cesar Vasquez, who dominated and knocked down Winky several times. Granted, Winky was still green, but he had a 25-0 record and was a good fighter. IMO Vasquez is a better name for a 168 fighter to have on his record than that of Kassim Ouma. But maybe that's just because I've been watching boxing for more than 5 minutes.

In terms of achievements and opposition beaten, Reid>Miranda.

Eubank, though past his best, was still a very good fighter, and Calzaghe beat him by a larger margin than Steve Collins or Carl Thompson, even though the latter was 2 divisions higher and fought him after the Calzaghe fight.
