Nardiello by KO. VN was coming off of a win over Sugar Boy Malinga.
In Germany it was Sven Ottke, who holds wins over Byron Mitchell, Glenn Johnson, Thomas Tate, Silvio Branco and Mundine.
Now, the fact is that both Reid and Miranda can be criticised, but Reid beat the better opposition. Also, the people that Reid beat (Nardiello and the Ottke robbery) had better records than Miranda does.
It's not really close to be honest.Comment

No, I pointed out the flaws in your claims.
I mean, if Pacquiao stepped up to heavyweight and got destroyed by Wlad, would that make him better than any other flyweight who lived? No. Even though no other flyweight has ever faced an opponent as tough as Wlad, it doesn't make you a better fighter if you face the best and get KO'd.
Taylor was certainly competitive against Pavlik, but I'm not sure how much that should be valued.
Taylor has wins over Hopkins, as does Calzaghe. I consider it a matter of debate which win is worth more, but I think that fighters like Eubank, Kessler, Lacy, Mitchell, Reid and Woodhall are superior to Spinks and Ouma, (who were not legit 160lb guys IMO) Joppy, Marquez and the draw with Wright.
Taylor is still young, and he's a talented fighter. Perhaps his resume will end up better than Calzaghe's, but at the moment I don't think that it is.Comment

Well Taylor didn't beat Pavlik or Wright, so...

True, but Reid beat Wharton as well.
Fair point, I haven't seen most of Ottke's fights, but do you really think Miranda has beaten the same level of opposition and achieved as much Robin Reid?Comment
