Because that's the only thing that matters in a fight. Taylor was also busted up and bleeding in the first (and second, but badly in the first), but Taylor had won atleast 6 rounds due to activity and actually landing something.

The second fight, Taylor didn't land ****. I'm not calling that fight a robbery, but how Taylor got the decision is something I'll always disagree with. He only won rounds due to activity and that still wasn't enough in rounds 1, 7-12 (the rounds Hopkins won imo). Atleast in the first fight Taylor landed his jab a little and some nice body shots.

Jermain's other best wins are Kassim Ouma and Cory Spinks. Good wins, but looked awful against Spinks. He ruined Ouma, but it has no competition with Kessler, Eubank, Reid, Mitchell, and others.

I missed the post after but I will reply here. My point was how do you write off Miranda and inculde Reid in the conversation. Neither guy is any better or worse then the other. Either time each of them has steped in the ring with a legit world class fighter they have lost. Just cause Reid happened to win a title from Giovanni Pretorius and lost it to the like of Thulani Malinga, it does not make him a more legitimate opponent then Miranda.

First of all, you called Reid a bum. So if you think that Reid is a bum, and that Reid is equal to Miranda, then I guess Miranda is a bum too.

Robin Reid was a very good fighter, but he was inconsistent. He won an Olympic medal (could Miranda do the same? No. He's not good enough technically, and doesn't have the speed or timing).

Reid went to Italy and won the WBC title. He went to Germany and won the WBA and IBF title in the eyes of everyone other than the officials. That fight in cited as one of the worst robberies of all time.

Reid holds a win over Julio Cesar Vasquez, who dominated and knocked down Winky several times. Granted, Winky was still green, but he had a 25-0 record and was a good fighter. IMO Vasquez is a better name for a 168 fighter to have on his record than that of Kassim Ouma. But maybe that's just because I've been watching boxing for more than 5 minutes.

Calzaghe best win was over Hopkins WHY??

Hopkins was in the top 5 in the P4P rating and come off beating Winky and Tarver. Hopkins is Calzaghes best win.

Taylor on the other hand beat Hopkins2 years before Calzaghe and done a hell of a job and beat his ass twice.
