Why??? I heard that he had injured the guy on the pedestrian crossing(who subsequently died),but to actually hate him? I don't get that.It was amusing to see him exposed and the Warren money-express derailed,but I never had any particular dislike of him.So what are the rumours then- apart from the usual womanising and showing off of his wealth?

I think most people don't hate Khan, rather Frank Warren. He was, is and always will be a ****.

Bookies make odds that people will bet on. If they made Khan a -1600 favorite that means they knew plenty of British fans would be willing to lay down 1600 pounds to win 100.

Now correct me if I am wrong. But if somebody wagers that type of money for so little reward is it not safe to say they did so because they thought he was a damn good fighter?

Mayweather was a betting favourite in this country as well. I put money on him and was annoyed at the lack of good odds.

Khan, who has a few good wins and an Olympics medal, was a favourite over someone who had failed to win the only time that he fought an opponent with a not-completely-**** record.

You seem to have made your mind up already. You say we hyped Khan. Then when it's pointed out how many of us didn't, you say it was a defence mechanism that was caused by Lockett getting beaten by Pavlik. You seem to have a problem with British fighters?

On top of all that.. the guy had a book, a DVD and other such endorsments for doing NOTHING...

His religion is not a factor.. The greed of him and his PR people were..

We were with her cousin once, and she was reading an Asian newspaper. It had an article about Khan in it, so I had a look, and she started talking about how annoying he was and how he was talked about too much. She gave the impression that he was in papers like that quite a bit, but she may have been exaggerating.

When refering to who people in the UK choose to idolise.. he says this after saying people should respect Khan more in the UK.. he himself lives in the UK.. if he lives there but does not refer to the UK "us" or "we" but rather "this county" and it's people "the ****s" suggests he does not identify with the British..

Now if he lives there... but does not identify.. then the chances are almost certain he is not orginally from there..

Not accusing anyone of anything but Warren did the samething for Naz,Hatton and calzaghe, He hyped them to NO-end especially Hatton who was on the WBU till he was 26/27.

Naz at least won a title at 21 and Khan got his hype from getting us a silver.

Well you ignore the fact.. that I simply enjoyed being right about Khan being hype job... that is the main reason and REALLy the only reason i was happy to see him get starched.. and ALL I did to gloat was bump an OLD thread predicting in a sense exactly what happened.. it's called "Amir Khan..
