Yes Khan was protected but all Warren fighters were protected that was expected, Khan at 21 is still ahead of Calzaghe or Hatton at 21 thats why it took both fighter till the mid-20s before they both step it up.

Naz was a good fighter at 21 when he won his title but he was protected as well.

Yeah but Khan got more hype because of his medal.

Not saying that he didn't deserve it, because I think he did deserve more than they got, but it's a bit like Rooney. They loved him at 16/17/18 but then he got loads of **** not longer afterwards.

Not even a little bit. I used to have a fave fighters list in my sig which had Toney, Pavlik and Duran, amongst others.

I genuinely am one of those people who don't give a **** about the race or nationality of fighters. One of my biggest problems with this forum is just that - blindly and obsessively supporting people and ****ting on others for reasons like race. In fact, not just race but everything else whcih turns people into ****head nuthuggers.

Personally, I think this forum would be a million times better if people didn't become so strongly affiliated with one fighter. I like ALOT of fighters but I don't obsess over one. It's these obsessives who turn into apologists and nuthuggers who ruin it for everyone else.

The thread I was banned for was nothing to do with fighters and their race. Well, not really.

Someone made a thread saying black fighters were more agile or something, and I did a "jokey" one straight after saying....well, something about black **** stars, and I got banned. It wasn't racist, it was more a satire on the other thread but Big Poppa didn't see the joke and I got banned.

I wasnt surprise Khan lost and i wasnt sad but did laugh because most boxing fan knew khan was going to get KO, It was confirmed when Gomez was able to KD with a simple grazing left to is chin.

Honestly most English fans thought Khan was good enough to beat the Prescott's of the world. Many opinions of him were "He's good enough to beat everyone but the top guys, he's not on that level"

He wasn't even that good, most all of the people who thought he would get exposed thought it would be in a world title fight or against someone noteworthy.

Jambo and Nicky haven't liked Khan during my time here. The fact is that before the fight, many of the British posters were critical of Khan and were hoping he would lose.

I agree that most people thought he would beat Prescott, but expecting him to beat a nobody is not that big of a deal. I had never heard of this guy, and in the rankings of boxrec etc. he was ranked below some of Khan's previous opponents.

Did everyone know that Khan was that bad? No, but there were several posts on here acting as if ALL British posters expected him to be the next SRR, so it's not surprising that some Brits have responded by bumping old threads to prove their case.

Khan isn't a bum, he just happens to have the worst chin of all time. But he does have talent, and if his chin was solid I think he could win a title. Sadly he gets rocked by jabs...

Say what you want about Khan. But he's got heart and he fronted up when he was 17 and won an Olympic Silver medal. That's alot more meaninful than most of the ****s who are worshipped in this ****** ****ing country have done.

Hatton had to work his way into that position he was not millionaire after how many fights and he is not arrogant man either who has been spoon fed his whole career

Well done for twisting my words. I said the large majority of people who bet on that fight only got their boxing knowledge through Frank Warren approved channels. So of course theyre gonna bet on him.

Anyone who had any independent thought could see it coming sooner or later. The bookies cleaned up because loads of people betting on the fight did not have independent knowledge. These people would have bet on him over Pac probably FFS.

He was hated because he qwas ****, a fake and a fraud. boxing people know this. Even Pakistanis and ******s involved in the sport hate his guts. That was never the rerason for hating him. In fact it was probably why the media licked his flag bearing balls as a symbol of mulit cultural Britain.
