lol just shut the hell up. who the **** wants to watch 2 half naked men dry humping each other on the ground...

I love boxing and MMA loads. I just can't stand the mis-matches, politics, and squabbling that comes with boxing. I prefer the vibe of MMA, and in general the fans are a lot more respectful to eachother.

Everyone has a fave fighter, but the discussion amongst us is usually balanced and civil, thats the difference at the moment for me. Another thing is that I like that the fighters are told who to fight by the organisation. No management or promoters are there to sour things.

first off , you can't say anything about it being gay with a name like FLYBOY ...lmao...trust me , you wouldn't have any idea what was going on if a man grabbed a hold of you until it was to late ...your arm broke or your choked unconscious...lmao...thats the point I was trying to make ...Wrestler's or MMA guys say nothing about the pillows you wear on hands when you fight ...so why do boxers have to talk **** about our sport...

I really don't think MMA is a threat to boxing. Boxing's golden days are over and like as not it will have to accept its current status as a relative minority sport for the long term future. However, just because its not as popular as it once was is no reaosn to believe it is dying, right now it still has lots of fans, generates lots of viewers for networks, and above all is a long standing and respected historical sport. It will never die.

As for MMA, perhaps one day it will be more popular than boxing, but what does it matter? It isn't a competition. The only people who speak like that are young MMA fans who probably enjoy watching WWE too and have a desire to see the 'boring' sport of boxing 'pwned', little realising that within five years they will likely abandon it as they outgrow their youthful desire to see sickening violence.

Soon someone will die in the MMA ring and the spotlight will shift from 'wow MMA is for hard nuts' to 'this sport is dangerous so we need to get the governments to stop it'

well....didn't somebody just come out of a coma due to boxing....yea, well thought out argument....there's already been what 3 or 4 deaths due to boxing....and then you have people like Muhammad Ali who don't even know there in the world because there brains are scrambled from being punched a million times...so again tell me how dangerous MMA is ...

what's the reason for these instigating articles? isn't this the same recycled **** that has been posted for the last 2 years and yet nothing has ****in' happened sometimes i feel that the guys writing for this site just run out of ideas and decide to throwout one of these "ooo the mma goliath is coming ooo" every other month just to create some jazz on the boards.

Sam Vasquez by subderal hemmorage after being knocked out last April. It was taken quite well. Nobody blamed nobody and everyone did their job to the fullest.
