Didnt read the article but, MMA is getting more popular and there was an article on ESPN where promoters where going to have boxing matches and mma matches on the same card. It is taking over but, its also up to the promoters to give boxing a good name. Fighters need to stop looking for money fights and look to fight the best in their division.

it seems like a fad...with a lot of jacks of all trades..masters of none..

as for a real street fight...everyfight ive ever been in at school and elsewhere was standup...tackling someone to the ground and wrestling is a waste of energy and a good way to get stomped on by your opponants friends

MMA is a joke. Boxing owns MMA on a world wide scale: FACT. Boxing has ten times more fans and generates hundreds of millions if not billions of more money than MMA fact.
