And Pavlik does have great power in either hand. It doesnt matter is he's a one punch KO artist or not. Not many guys are against elite competition.

Taylor definently fought better in the 2nd fight. He was barely on the ropes and it was a competitive fight. In the first fight after round 2 he was getting outboxed badly until the KO. Pavlik couldn't miss with the right in the 1st fight. Jermain definently improved from the 1st fight.

And Hopkins is obviously carrying more power at this weight than at 160. He was running his ass off too stay at 160. He didn't have any real power at 160 anymore.

Hopkins is gonna make the fight competitive regardless. This ain't gonna be an easy fight for Pavlik. Pavlik aint gonna throw his usual against sneaky Bernard.

I would say that Tyson's KO record was more impressive with 44 KO's in 50 wins while Lewis had 32 KO's in 41 wins.
Lewis had KO's over better opposition, although not necessarily tougher.

To be honest I don't really go by records but from what I see in the ring.

who gives a ****. power is power whether its one punch or a combo of punches. if youre knocking out guys you consistently you have power. anyway,,,hopkins was never a big one punch guy himself. he certainly doesnt hit as hard as pavlick. that should be obvious to anyone with half a brain. hell,,ask jermaine taylor. he hook off hopkins landed punches a hell of a lot better than he did pavs

Because Pavlik's fans think he has devastating mega powers because of his 88% Ko ratio and it doesn't matter how often you tell em that he isn't a one punch knockout artist...

It is his ability to land flush shots that gives him a very respectable KO rate. He world class fighter due to that ability.
