Will he still be able to overpower his opponents at age 37, after 4 years of inactivity?

Will he be able to deal effectively with Sam Peter's rabbit punches?

Will he make Peter do the chicken dance, like he did to Danny Williams? Will he become the first fighter to stop Peter, like he was the first to stop Donald, Bean, Hide, Johnson, Mahone, etc.?
    no...........

Peter is no Hagler of course but it would be an achievement for Vitali.

It just tells you how little people think of Peter when he is an underdog against a 37 year old Vitali who hasn't fought in 4 years though...
Yes. Vitali is the sentimental favourite. It's not fair that Peter is the underdog IMO.

I think the McCline fight, where Peter actually boxed quite well, turned people against the invincibility of Peter, because it showed the *****s in his armor.

Too funny, they censored chinx. I guess they musta thought it was a racial slur or something when it was used appropriately to reflect weakness.

This will be a great win if he can pull it off. I agree, if the old Vitali comes into that fight, I can't see how Peter wins it.

This fight isn't going 12 rounds...

              It's amazing that they do.

We heard so much about Ali not being as good, having slowed down, when he came back at age 29.

But Vitali's age 37 - is he supposed to be still in his prime at his age, after four years away?

Is this the same old politically correct double standard rearing its ugly head again?

I've been watching his old fights, and he had great offensive skills, and excellent handspeed. He would KO his opponents with an accumulation of hard, accurate punches. He looked to be better skilled and more athletic than Wlad, but without the one-punch KO power in his right.

this would be a really incredible achievement, i am more encouraged hearing that Vitali has been training over the last four years, there is less than 30 days till the fight, i really hope he doesnt get injured, that would very depressing, he may not be the exact same fighter as before but one thing he still has that intimidating staredown

I can't believe some people take you seriously when you post that kind of racist innuendo bull****. Who ever said Vitali was still in his prime today? Name one legit source that made this claim. Why are you even comparing him to Ali?? The situations are not even remotely similar. Vitali retired voluntarily. He wasn't robbed of anything. Ali was forced out of boxing as an unbeaten champion and punished by the government. Why are you so racially insecure?. Ali depended on speed and his legs which obviously were not going to be the same. Vitali is a plodding heavyweight who never depended on speed. But overpowering his opponents. Vitali has never had "excellent" hand speed. That is not his game and never has been. Truly pathetic race baiting here that was not necessary in the least bit. You have problems.

Vitali will lose and be done with the heavyweight division and friggin retire. That would be best for boxing, it's like a hot ***** who comes into your life and wants to be with you but is really undecided. It'd be much better if she just hit the road instead of teasin your ass.
