yeah im sure his 90% KO ratio was due to his illegally wrapped hands.

He didn't get hit and hurt too much to my recollection by left hooks.
      Good observation.

I think it could be a case where the better fighter would get beaten. Undoubtedly Hearns was a superior fighter however Tito's style is pretty much kryptonite for Tommy. He has power, finishes fights strong and has a damaging left hook - Tommy's bogey punch.

I think in a ten fight series Trinidad might win 6 or 7. It would all come down to whether Tommy managed to use his jab and great right hand to keep Trinidad from landing that left hook for the 12 rounds. Obviously Hearns has a better chance in a 12 round fight compared to a 15 rounder.

        Your thoughts on this match-up?
Please help me understand how a 12 rounder would benefit Tommy and a 15 rounder would benefit Tito? I dont recall Tito ever fighting a 15 round fight.

Tito would have a great chance dont get me wrong i just feel that Hearns right hand would find a home easier and sooner than Tito's left hook Hearns right hand was not only powerful it was up there with Arguello's for accuracy IMO

Tommy faded badly in a lot of his fights. Tito was a slow starter who got stronger as the fight went on. Hearns might have been in a few 15 rounders but he never looked comfortable in them.
