"Haterfree" appears to have some kind of obsession with Antonio Margarito. Out of his 17 threads made, 6 of them are about Margarito and the rest comprise of threads explaining how elite Black boxers are compared to other races.

What I find ironic is that here are 2 threads where is attempting to criticize boxing fans for discussing Floyd so much, yet this guy who is "free of hate" for some reason can't bring himself to talk about another fighter other than Antonio Margarito.

"Why are people so concerned with Floyds career?"

"Why cant people keep Mayweathers name out of their mouth?"

I never said I don’t respect those guys…each one of those fighters has entertained me by risking their health and that’s an automatic pass in the respect dept for this fan…however, going back to my original point, it’s hard not to root for a fighter that wasn’t recruited straight out of the Olympics, brought along carefully and were put on the fast track to good paydays…Margarito is like that walk-on who was never drafted/recruited, and made the team…he isn’t overrated (original topic) just because people root for him

ok i can agree with that.. i think he gets overrated by some people because some people build him up to be like some kind of super hero or something.. but i guess that happens with every boxer and with some of their fans.. marg is a good fighter and one of the best in his division but i do not think he is the clear cut best in his division

Did you agree that Baldomir was the best welterweight when he got the belt from Judah?

But some would have us believe that he has had a greater career than future Hall of Famers like Oscar, Floyd, or even Joe Calzaghe & Roy Jones.

Is he the most overrated boxer in history. Guys like David Reid, Edison Miranda, Tommy Morrison were overrated but I think Margarito just might take 1st place.
                    Haterfree eh? interesting...

Threads like these make me wonder, man.

Margarito was underrated for many, many years. So he finally gets on the big stage, pulls off the Upset Of The Year in one of the most memorable fights of recent history so that makes him the most overrated fighter of all time.

Only on the boxingscene forums, I tell you.
