With all the current talk about how great Margarito is by the Mexifans. It is funny how if his career ended now he would not go into the boxing hall of Fame. Margarito has had a slightly above average career. His 2 biggest fights were Paul Williams & Cotto. He was 1-1. Fighters like Floyd & Oscar will absolutely be in the Hall of Fame.

Even fighters like Arturo Gatti, Castillo, & Diego have better arguments than Margarito. Margarito is 30 years old. By the time Floyd & Oscar, reached 30 they had already secured there status. Will Margarito ever reach such lofty status?

Beating Cintron, Golden Johnson, & Clottey just wont get it done. Who knows? Maybe Margarito has enough to catch up. Because even a fighter like Vernon Forrest has more career accomplishments than Margarito right now.
