Calzaghe can talk all he wants, bottom line: he is ducking Pavlik and he knows it. Notice how he doesn't say Hopkins is better than Kelly because he knows Kelly is going to dust BHop. what about the hopkins fight? oopsyyyyyyyy please post pics of joes busted up face and hopkins was perfectly fine. who really won? notice how joe never mentions the hopkins fight only kessler and lacy cause he knows he got a gift. he hopes not talking about the hopkins fight people will forget about it. not happening windmill boy!

Winning 3 or 4 would make him 3 or 4X better than Lacy. And why do people say Joe is picking on Older fighters when the difference in age between Pavlik VS Joe (10 years) > Joe VS Jones (3 years). People talked **** about Joe fighting Hopkins, but give Pavlik a pass (who by the way is 17 years younger than Hopkins)?? Pavlik should fight Abraham or Kessler for now.

They are still Lacy and Kessler , they are not any better than what they were just because some fancied them doesnt make them better every loser has their fans , the point is after Joe they all somehow get better according to Joes fans , the same guys that were saying that Kessler was a robot and Lacy was untested prior to the fight .

As it is right now Lacy was never anything above a passing title holder that only fought fringe contenders untill Joe .
And Kessler is untested , he needs to fight Dawson or Kelly to see where he is really at and by the same token Dawson and Kelly need to fight Kessler at some point , jury is still out on Kessler .

At the end of the day Pavlik is the recognized mw champion of the world. He came up and defeated the former champ to get his titles. Kessler fought the recognized smw champion and was handily beaten. He lost when stepping up while Pavlik seized his titles by ktfo. Speculate all you want as to how good kessler is, but he truth is that he lost to the man of his division, and Pavlik beat the man. Nothing can change that, and Kessler choked when he stepped on to the big stage.

Thats because the recognised 168lb Champ was light years ahead of the recognised 160lb champ.
