I think Cotto is more talented and better than Kessler, however if your talking a better 'boxer', Well Kessler is the deffinition of a texbook boxer. Hands high, sharp fast shots..

    It's pretty close..

Anyway, **** them... you are probably more educated on what you are talking about than they are, so what are you sweating it for?

I firmly believe that Mayweather didn't retire to avoid fighting Cotto, and a lot of people think I'm 100% wrong, but... I don't give a ****. If they have a problem with, then can suck my ****... simple as that.
But I am all about peace and love. I dislike confontation really, so I guess that means I shouldn't post here...

As for Mayweather, if he didn't firmly believe he could beat Cotto, I'll eat my hat. I mean really...If anything if he had any other reason for retiring other than just retiring it was to let WW shake itself down with his name out of the hat, exactly as it has, and to maximise the money for any fight he returns for.

I dunno what the threadstarter meant, but to be honest I just meant 'better', because that's what I think. I reckon Kessler's one of the best boxers going. Luckily, I know you won't be upset by this opinion in any way.

And there is the possibility that he was being truthful about his body breaking down. It's not impossible in a sport where you hit and get hit all the ****ing time.

Anyway, yeah, idk if an internet forum is your place if you don't like confrontation that much. I generally don't like it when people I like are pissed at me (even including some posters on here, ie Warp, Dorian, Skillsy, Dios), but the random jackasses who get pissy with me don't get to me.

I just enjoy the art of argumentation as well as the sport of boxing, which explains why I spend a decent amount of time on here arguing about boxing.

Plus, it's always helpful to try to see where other people are coming from... I've learned so much from people correcting my original statements.

I used to think that Cotto fought the same way as Hatton because I had only seen Cotto fight Judah and only seen Hatton fight Castillo and knew that they were both quite the body puncher. That quickly got turned around.

This forum has been incredibly valuable to me for both learning and getting my competitive need to argue out.

EDIT: And if worse comes to worst, just start ****ing around with whoever is bothering you... telling them that their favorite fighter goes ass to mouth or something.

I am not 100% sold on him, He is very strong all around and technically very good. But he hasn't beat anyone of high enough calibre for me to be 100% on him,

But i watch him with interest to see how it all unfolds as he is a very good, and entertaining fighter.

I'm not bad. Just arranged an interview with the RAF. Not sure if I want to join, but it takes so long to sort out I'll have plenty of time to consider.

I feel your pain my friend.

Sometimes I wonder if certain posters are even aware that upsets can happen in boxing, and that being so sure of your opinion that you treat others with contempt for feeling differently is a bit silly. Especially after his landslide defeat in the Eubank-Baldomir poll.

Haha. Indeed, sometimes I do exactly that, but I'm trying to give up.

As for the forum, really i would know **** about boxing if I didn't come here, that's the best thing about it, you hear about boxers, learn about styles, improve your knowledge, it can be great.

I'm a Joe fan though, and also have no reason to root for US guys so tend to view them in much less favourable (and dare I say, realistic) light than a lot of posters here. This combination equals much flaming, but then again I do pwn in most cases. Ho ho ho.

                  Haha. I remember that.

I've actually spent quite a bit of time explaining that really there is no need to be made angry by 'opposing' fans, and that its not actually us who are in competition, but do I get anywhere? Do I ****.

Good luck with the RAF though mate, although try not to get blown up or involved in any friendly fire incidents or anything like that.

Oh yeah, that Romero film poster you had in your avvy, "Martin" is it a good film? I was going to download it specifically after seeing it there, as I'd never heard of it before.

I think it will not unfold so much as stagnate. I don't see him getting any big fights anytime soon, because he's a Euro bum.

                    Hope I'm wrong though.

**** that man... nationalism is so overrated.

                      I'm a white kid (I guess I'm not a kid anymore... I'm 21) from midwest US.

                      My favorite fighters are:
Winky Wright - a black dude from Florida, half a country away.
Juan Manuel Lopez - Puerto Rican.
                      Erik Morales - Mexican.

I mean, really... I don't have any reason to cheer for any of those guys, but... all of them intrigued me in one way or another, so... that is why I can consider them my favorites!
