Don’t you Calzaghe fans have your own opinion? This is the second video posted by a Calzaghe fan. Hopkins come into fight with intend to win, hence why Calzaghe got knocked down in the first round. What kind of boxer knocks down a fighter and not intends to win??? Hopkins was the proven and come into the fighter with 2 good wins over better opposition than Kessler and was higher on the P4P list. Kessler nor his opponents were in the P4P list. That why the Hopkins fight was closer his class showed but his stamina wasn’t there.

calzaghe schooled hopkins. Hopkins got landed 1 punch and that was in the first round where joe slipped on water from the flask he was dirnking out of. part from that calzaghe looked like neo from the matrix and hopkins looked like steven hawkins

Hopkins has more stature than Kessler, so that win shines more on Cal's resume. He beat Kessler a lot more easily and decisively tho.

It was an ugly fight. Hopkins knocked down Calzaghe, but loses his stamina. Calzaghe wins in a SD, but some had Hopkins winning.

The reason why they say Kessler was Calzaghe best wins

1 They don’t want to say their fighter’s best win was over a 43 year old man which included a knock down.

2 They don’t want an old yank to be his hardest fight

3 Saying Kessler was harder makes Europeans fighters look better, hence helping Calzaghe resume.

4 They are Hoping Kessler becomes a very good fighter years later hence saying that was Calzaghe best win

5 Hopkins made Calzaghe look like an amateur



Hopkins was Calzaghe best win; there is no need to deny this. Hopkins is the better fighter and his status was higher at the time when they fought and gave Calzaghe a harder fight.
