Calzaghe did more showboating than punching. However, when he did punch harder than he does now.

It also looks like he's been content with fighting bums since way back then.

Not many fighters do possess that kind of one shot pop, and fighters with decent chins tend not to get stopped.

Calzaghe is probaby an underrated hitter now but he is never been a ****er IMO he has decent power for a SMW like Eubank & Hopkins but not exceptional power

Hopkins fans hate it when I say this, but to me it is obvious from the way the fight played out and indeed ended. This isn't me hating on B-Hop, its just the way I see the fight. You might say something similar about Calzaghe's performance against Lacy, its easy to look good when your opponent hasn't got anything to worry you.

IMO, this is why Roy Jones Jr wants to fight Joe Calzaghe.

Well, you may think not, and Jones was certainly the more talented fighter, but IMO Jones did not respond well when placed under serious assault and Benn would have given him kittens. Benn was a huge puncher and had he caught Jones it might well have been all over. A shot Jones was KOd by Glen Johnson and prime Benn was a much better fighter, so I would always give him a chance against virtually anyone.

Of course you would. You are a Calzaghe fan you will hype his resume so that he looks better. Benn would be able to lay a shot on a prime Roy Jones.

What has Nigel Benn got to do with Joe Calzaghe's resume? I think the main reason I give Benn a chance against Jones is that I've actually seen him fight a few times and know a bit about him.

I understand Calzaghe fans. You rate Benn so high that makes Eubank win look better over him. Hence making Eubank into a superstar making Calzaghe look even better. You guys are very cunning bastards, I say. I remember a Calzaghe fan rating Mundine as a legitimate title holder.
