No he didn't quit really. He was basically saying, OK, you've taken everything I could give, and your still coming at me to win, your the better man, you deserve it, take it. In no way did I see Cotto quitting when he went through hell in some earlier rounds prior to that. He could have quit then but he still had to test Margarito afew more rounds.

Your comments have been right on the money as usual Silencers, saving me the bother of haveing to repeat the same thing. To me quitting is stopping when you have something left (Freitas was a good example you used). Cotto had the fight beat out of him and had nothing left. If you can't stay on your feet it isn't quitting.
