When you take a beating like that, you take one knee and then automatically retreat backwards with your legs wobbly and hands down to your sides practically from one corner to the other with nothing left, then take another knee you pretty much quit. He winked at Evangelista as to say "yeah it's enough"

Zoo quit I thought actually, but there's room for interpretation in every fight.
I can't pretend to know what Cotto was thinking but he sure as hell looked disoriented to me.
Can you tell that Tunney fool, what i wrote in that "hateful" private message to you about margarito.

How quick did he walk towards his corner without even looking at the ref or Margarito

Flawless was fair and balanced in assessment towards Margarito.
I will absolutely vouch for that.

            He's a good sport.

Tszyu definitely quit. Especially if you were sitting on 3-1 odds that Hatton would win by decision like I was.

                  ......................

                  Cotto quit.....but he should have.........

When he got up from the second knock down.....

the referee's back was to cotto's corner .........

Cotto saw them and winked/nodded yes........

                  saying yea im done .............

Cotto realized his corner was throwing in the towel before the ref did.......

alot of boxers you'll see protest or yell at their corner why are you stopping the fight.........

but when you watch the replay of the fight you'll see cotto see his corner wink/nod yes....

but i think cotto is more intelligent than most boxers and he did the right thing........

you can only go as far as your resources allow you to.........

and marg was like a blitzkrieg on cotto's azz..........

nothing cotto could do at that point but concede that he lost........

The second time Cotto went down the punches Margarito was landing wasn't even close to his hardest. He was trying to land as many as possible to win the fight for sure, he was picking his punches he knew he has Cotto hurt and was it to finish him. The look in Cotto face said it all

                      Ouch. One more round... goddamn.

He had all this energy to grab the microphone and give this speech to the Mancunian fans and he can't go three more minutes.
Admittedly, that was a grueling fight and Zoo's relative inactivity in the past 4 years didn't do him any favors either.

The thing is you constantly heard what a beast he was and how grueling his workout routines were so it puzzled the **** out of me why he just laid down.
