Cotto was winning the first 6 rounds , I gave the 2nd round to Marg. The problem is, it was reminiscent of Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor, Taylor was winning on points but Chavez was giving him a beating.

If they fight again, Marg KO's him in under 6, Cotto doesn't want it again.

The first thing I noticed about Cotto's shots to Marg's was that that they didn't really show any physical abuse. I mean, look at Cotto at the end of the fight; whats better 5 good clean shots or 20 okay hits? Slow and steady wins the race... unless you're Iron Mike lol..

Ok listen. All that scoring "punches landed" stuff for each fighter at an even 1:1 ratio assumes that both fighters are evenly matched physically. It is still a fight, and if one fighter is walking through punches, and the otherfighter is, say.... all ****ed up and spitting out blood and clearly getting hurt more, you can't just say "Oh Cotto put in good work there. His round."

Williams beat Margarito because he hit him more, AND was never hurt. Cotto was ****ed up, and clearly bothered by his power. Its still a fight, look at his face...he got whooped. (and yes, by this rationale, that also means Lewis beat Vitali's ass. Just look at the faces. It's not hard to tell who won a fight...)

Margarito was ahead by at least a round, by that 11th, maybe 2.

someone threw away my card (lol) but I had a 6-4 to Cotto.

I couple of rounds were hard to score like round 8 the round after Margs hurt Cotto bad the first time and a few others.
