    Round 8:

Margarito doesn't land **** for the first 2 minutes. At :40 seconds Margarito has a good flurry that lands. At the end of it Cotto lands like 5 punches unaswered. I could see people scoring this round for Margarito, but Cotto does better work for the first two minutes and the end. He sneaks in shots and then Margarito misses.

I mean I'll give credit to Margarito, he was effective, but he was not winning. I'd love to see a rematch.

      Other thoughts:

      - I'm not going to be like "Cotto sucks" he didn't run he did what he had to do to try and win. Margarito has average skill, but probably the best chin I've ever seen. My god, Cotto hit him with like 5 shots in a row and Margarito was just like "Lol I'm gonna KO you in round 11"

      - I still don't like Margarito and feel he would lose to cotto in a rematch, Williams, and Mayweather. He put on a good knockout. I want to say he's average, but he's not. I wouldn't say great, but he's an elite welterweight fighter.

-Cotto + body = oh wait. He never went there. What the **** cotto?

-Really sad to see Lampley and Steward crying. Lampley was going to and Steward was almost going to. Their favorite boxer got crushed.

-Cotto needs to cut that pernell whitaker **** out, but he had the right idea of boxing and he was winning easily. Mayweather would have shut Margarito out.

-I'm still in awe about Margarito's chin. Don't know if I've made that clear yet.

-I'm not gonna lie I'm pretty bummed out right now, especially after seeing Lamps and Steward looking like they were going to cry. I'd probably cry if Hopkins got KOd though. I'm man enough to admit that.

-So I lost 15k on the fight, but gained 15k because it wasn't Fight of the year (bull**** to anyone who says other wise) and mr. grey hair and grey beard who has no name wasn't there.
Your scorecard is that of an idiot.

And Gayweather admitted he's a coward against Margarito.

      Even pissed on his pants.

Those HBO guys nuthug like no other,I was going for Cotto, but the nut licking of those guys made me sick, they do it all the time, mostly Lampley.I had Cotto winning on points.Cotto had the skills, and the speed, but like always,Margo is to much to handle.NO matter how much preparation, and hiding in the ring,a Tornado will destroy. My opinion,Margarito/Williams 2 is the fight that needs to happen.Cotto was a beaten man, landed the cleaner shots, and Margo still over came.great fight,I wouldn't call it a upset, because there was a huge chance Margo could win,and he did.Im thinking a pure Boxer could beat margo, and we all know how exciting those fights are.......ZzzZZZzzzZzzz

Gotta say, watched round 9 again, and I'd score it for Margarito.

I justify my score being even for round 10 because Cotto did the much better for the first 2:50 and then Margarito just destroyed him at the end.

          So it'd be 5-3-1 so, 97-94.

Sorry Warp I don't agree with your card. I thought it was maybe even going into the 11th, possibly Cotto up by 1 point. No way Coto was up by 4 or 5 rounds though I don't think.

People were overreacting to Margaritos work later in the fight. Very effective obviously, but Cottos work was better. Its just that we were used to seeing Cotto dominate in this fight.

Lettermans card was awful as usual IMO

How could Cotto have been that far up on any card? Lampy was biased for Cotto, yet he still seen it as a somewhat Close fight. My card kind of resembled Lederman's card. Lamply was seeing a totally different fight than i was. I thought Cotto boxed beautifully in round one, but it was back and fouth from that point on and Margarito was slowy starting to systematially break Cotto down round by round. Cotto won a lot of the earlier rounds, but i had the fight just about even going into the eleventh.

Cotto was landing a lot more in the first half of the fight and at least matching Margarito for most of the second half of it.
