Lacy didn't look good, but he finished the fight. His team and especially Lacy should review this last fight and fixed the mistakes he made. First they have shorten up his punches, he was too wild and swinging wide too many times when he didn't have to. Get more stamina and proper sparring and you have the Lacy of old. As a previous post Lacy does get hit a lot, this was always the case, he's a slugger and not a defensive fighter. This is what made him such an exciting fighter. Lacy is not a shot fighter, he has been rocked many a times before, he just has to put his punches together and not go buck wild on his opponents. He has this mentality that he can KO every opponent, and doesn't have a back-up plan when this doesn't happen. Just my 2 cents.

Lacy better get his conditioning game up.

His performance against Mendoza was embarassing.

I wish he'd stick to his jab more.....Damn near every fight you see in the first round or two a hard snapping jab and then you see the rest of the fight what you stated above, wild winging shots trying to demolish his opponent, which is all fine and good but would be much more effective if he would just keep pumping his jab to set more things up.

Taylor has the tools to destroy Lacy

Then again Taylor has the tools to destroy anybody, but he's clueless as to how to use them

His weak mentality could make this a fight, but shame on him if he lets it get close because he's in another league than Lacy

Why is everyone so shocked? Jeff Lacy has always been this way. And I can recall quite a few of his spectacular KO's (before Calzaghe) occuring via rabbit punch. In fact, I was unimpressed each and every single time he fought. One people stopped being scared of his "power," it was all downhill. But really, he never was that good.

The Lacy and JT might be interesting, but the bottom line is i dont care who wins. so wouldnt watch it. I know who is favourite in the fight, so it kills it for me.

I've heard of a paper champion, but never a paper opponent.
