Taylor will beat Lacy pretty easily from what I saw of Lacy against Mendoza.

What's amusing about this fight (sad for Lacy) is that since Taylor/Pavlik II there have been a dozen different polls about Taylor vs (insert potential opponent) and nearly EVERYONE who picked Taylor, picked him to win by UD. Over the last three years, Taylor has lost his reputation as a KO puncher.

But now... against Lacy... a true SMW when Taylor couldn't KO 154 lbers... everone is picking Taylor by stoppage.

If this doesn't show how far into the gutter Lacy has fallen, I don't know what does.

i feel sorry for lacy but he appears to be done.

        Taylor should beat him easy.

If Jermain can rediscover his jab, he will make this a much easier fight. If he doesn't, then he will be taking unnecessary risks and exposing himself to Lacy's wider punches.

Good assessment... Taylor's jab is the key to this fight. Lacy lunges forward with his chin there for the taking.

He's got to fight smart and go at his own pace though. If he goes toe-to-toe with Lacy in the first few rounds, he is playing with fire. Plan to take him past 5 or 6, then it's lights out time for Lacy.

Plus there's no reason not to take Lacy into the deeper rounds; there is no way he can win a decision against Taylor.

One thing I noticed about Lacy is that he only has one way of coming in, through the front door. He doesn't move his head at all, just comes right in the front door.

If Taylor uses his jab, he will take that option away and will be able to pick him apart. If he doesn't and tries to make it a power punching festival, he'll take unnecessary risks and risk getting caught with a wide, looping shot.

whats up with all these limeys talking like taylor is scared of froch. lol. thats funny. HBO wants the taylor-lacy fight not the froch fight. let froch fight pascal. At leat Pascal is better than anybody froch has faced and please dont say robin reid. BTW Pascal is garbage. Why am I even explaining this to yall? All I9 got to say is 3-1 since december 07. 3-1 baby.

                Mayweather knocked out Hatton
Timothy Bradley made Witter his *****.
                Tarver carved up Woods.
                Calzaghe squeaks by Hopkins.

Maybe when you guys make this a bit more even then yall can start the trash talk. Yall just making yourselves look ridiculous at this point.

Anybody who thinks Taylor is ducking Froch is ******ed.. JT has never ducked anybody in his career.. Bhop twice, winky, Pavlik twice.. He could have just jumped to SMW without fighting Pavlik if he wanted but he took him on.. So all these UK ****ers are crazy if they think JT is scared of Crotch

Im sure he isnt scared of Froch. Hes just doing what a lot of big yank fighters have done over the years. Choosing money over a real challenge.
