If anyone wants to offer me some odds I could be tempted to have a couple of bets on Lacy winning this one.

I do wish Taylor fought Froch first though. I know the money wouldn't have been as good and it is a riskier fight but if he won the belt he could dictate after that. (Hopefully he would try to clean up a division that is now weak apart from Kessler and Froch.

I think November 8th is the tentative date for Calzaghe-Jones.

Taylor will beat Lacy pretty easily from what I saw of Lacy against Mendoza.

No doubt they'll use the 11/15 show to replay Calzaghe-Jones.

Because it takes some kind of fighter to get hurt in the second round by a journeyman?

Lacy has always been hittable and never been a P4P type fighter and Mendozas always been a hard puncher, so why shouldnt a guy like Lacy get hurt by a guy like Mendoza without being shot? I dont get it.

Lacys also been hurt by Vanderpool (to the body) and Sheika by the way.

I agree it looked bad how often he was stunned later in the fight, but if youre tired and wide open and youre facing a hard puncher, I guess that can happen. I think its too soon to say Lacy has lost his ability to take a punch.

All that being true, Also people keep comparing it to Dawsons performance against Mendoza.....A fight which Mendoza took on like a weeks notice. He knew he was fighting Lacy for a while and had time to prepare.....Either way Lacy should have looked better.....
